2025 NYCWJF JAZZ TALKS ANNOUNCED

The NYC Winter Jazzfest Jazz Talks series provides a space for members of the jazz community to share experiences, challenges and lessons in an open dialogue to provide guidance, and to imagine collective solutions and support systems for our Jazz, Black American, and Improvised Music communities.

The 2025 Jazz Talks series features artist-in-resident Makaya McCraven, Strata-East label co-founder and musician Charles Tolliver, drummer and founder of the Berklee Institute for Jazz and Gender Justice Terri Lyne Carrington, Grammy Award winning writer Ashley Kahn, and more.
