Flash Pig is a 13 year old band based in Paris, blending raw improvisation, arranged pop tunes and introspective originals. All of the four members leaders and highly active sidemen, they played festivals such as North Sea, Jazz in Marciac and Jazz à la Villette. They share a limitless love for the free jazz scene, from Keith Jarrett to Ornette Coleman and Paul Motian. Their new album will be released early 2024, inspired by the soundtrack of the acclaimed film In the Mood for Love.
